Salem Area FCA serves coaches and athletes in Salem and the surrounding communities. We meet athletes where they are — on high school and college campuses, at camps and in the community — and help them grow in their faith through the sports they love.

From campus Huddles to summer sports camps, our local team, board and volunteers are here to encourage, equip and walk alongside the next generation of competitors.

Our Vision

To see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.

Kingdom impact is eternal impact.

Tony Jones

Salem Area Director

After 40+ years of vocational pastoral ministry, I get the opportunity to step into a lane I’m passionate about: Jesus, sports, and young people. If there’s ever been an opportunity to reach them through the platform of sports, it’s now. Sports in America has become a god. We can reverse how culture looks at it and use it to advance the greatest story ever told, the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I count it a privilege to be a representative and a leader as we fight the good fight of faith.
